Euregio – Two Choir Concert

Maria Himmelfahrtskirche Kirchpl., Kelmis, Belgium

The Royal Church Choir of St. Gregory Kelmis was founded in 1858 and can therefore look back on 165 years of association history. The singers have always remained true to the motivation and tradition of singing “To the glory of God and to the joy of the people”. CARMINA VIVA was founded in 1998 under the leadership of Vera Saam-Genten. Later she shared work on the conducting stage with Rainer Hilger for three years. In November 2012, Rainer Hilger took over the sole musical direction of the ensemble. (read more)

Opening concert

Theater at the Vrijthof Vrijthof 47, Maastricht

The Limburg Youth Symphony Orchestra is led by the well-known and energetic Sander Teepen and opens with the famous Moldau from Ma Vlast by Smetana. The internationally renowned cellist Quirine Viersen stars with Bruch and Dvořák and the young talents Bibi Ortjens and Tim Stoter also perform. The presentation is in the hands of Rob Mennen. Laureates concert

The Copper Mill Von Clermontplein 11, Vaals

Organized annually Vocallis a Masterclass. The last edition was in Aachen in February 2024. This resulted in three winning duos that can be heard in this laureates concert. Winners Valerie Haunz, soprano and Sofi Simeonidis, piano made a big impression with work by the Austrian composer Moritz Eggert. (read more)

Storytelling concert Frieda Belinfante

Hoeve de Kroon Rijksweg 12, Maastricht

Frieda Belinfante, born in 1904, was a cellist. She was the first female conductor in the Netherlands. She performed in the Concertgebouw with her own chamber orchestra, but her career was torpedoed by the war. The storytelling concert Frieda Belinfante delves into her special life. (read more)

Giocoso Women's Choir – Passion & Inspiration

Piano four hands with vocals. A special sister duo, known from, among others, Classical on Sunday NPO4. And, especially for Festival Vocallis, with their mother as a special musical guest.
