Using chamber music written for Wittgenstein, the musicians take the listener on a journey through loss, resilience, passion and triumph. Director Ellen Blom devised a special concept to let the dramatic story of Paul Wittgenstein, his family and his character resonate in the music. Marlijn Helder wrote a new work especially for this programme, Herman van Tongerloo and Hans Jeths were responsible for the texts and the decor of this concert-with-a-story.
