Comics artist Paul Teng Ping Ya
None other than Dutch cartoonist Paul Teng Ping Ya has designed this year's festival image. Paul Teng is regarded as one of the best realistic draftsmen in the Netherlands. He is best known for his historical comics. In March 2013, Paul Teng was awarded the Stripschapprijs.

That one of us first, so for the last.
One and the other thread, their knot,
as if there would never be a difference.
An unequal life course.
We too, who count our hours together,
reach the sum of our existence,

We just met, I saw a hair
loose on your sweater, a little later on mine.
